Not laughing anymore...
So I asked Santa for something tall, dark and handsome... instead I got Tupperware.Not funny.
Let it Snow...

Well it didn't exactly snow while we were there, but there was a lot of snow. So even though we couldn't make a snowball, since the snow wouldn't stick,we did make some fun snow angels!
Every year the fire department in Eagle Mountain escorts Santa through all the neighborhoods throwing candy to all the little boys and girls. You can't see it in the picture, but the ambulance follows in front playing Christmas Carols. It was just too cute to see all the little kids bundled up waiting to catch a glimpse of the big fat man dressed in red! How neat is that!
We also had a blast "scubing" down the hill on the tubes. Tait was a little confused and thought we were going scuba diving. After trying to correct him, it turned into scubing!
Of course, the main reason why I came was to see my newest little nephew, Miles George Skinner. He was such a cutie, even in his Santa sweats! If you want to see the blessing pictures, I'm sure Cameron and Amanda have it posted on their blog. Go ahead and click on their link to the right.
The Master
I finally did it!
I graduated with my masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Language and Literacy.
So after a year and a half of a lot of tears and many sacraficed weekend nights, I'm finally done!!!
A special thanks to all of you who have encouraged and supported me throughout my program, as well as a big THANK YOU to those who came out and supported me on this special day, though I'm sure you all would have been there if you could have. I, on the other hand, would much rather have been shopping! :P

Meet Jarom!
He's got the face that only a mother could love.
But for those of you who don't know him, you're missing out. Jarom is Suzanne's crazy redhead cousin, who I also like to refer to as The Leprechaun Dancer.
Before he left on his mission we threw him a party. One of the amazing features was "The Bubble," which both he and Suzanne constructed. This is just a glimpse into his creative mind!

Human Burrito
For Halloween, the Chipolte on Stapely will give you a free burrito if you dress up like one. So a few of my friends and I dressed up as different ingredients and wrapped ourselves in a sheet. Delicious!
Hawaii 2007
Aloha! For my fall break this year I took off with three of my good friends to the beautiful islands of Hawaii. We first arrived to Oahu Monday night, where we were greeted and leied by my friend Missy. It's been years since I've seen her and we had a great time catching up. Turns out the two guys who came with me also had close connections to Missy as well, what a small world! On Tuesday we went to the Dole Plantation and played the Amazing Race in the world's largest maze. It was a close race but in the game of Amazing Race it's all about who wins, sorry Amy and Andrew, lost ticket or not you still lost!!! We then went to the beach to catch some rays before the sun went down, but were threatened by stormy clouds. While we were laying out we had some curious craw dad
s going in and out of the sand to catch a glimpse of us. We then glanced up to find ourselves surrounded by an army of junior high football players in full gear, it was something you would see in a movie! They had come to practice drills in the sand but were literally surrounding us when they first ran up. That night Kip and Missy took us to a sushi restaurant. The food rotated around the tables on a conveyor belt and you just grabbed what you wanted as it went by. I'm not sure all what I ate but I'm sure I don't want to know! :) On Wednesday we went snorkeling by Shark's Cove and ate one of the many shaved ice we would have on our trip. The boys went out first and then let Amy and I use their equipment after they were done. We didn't get far when Amy decided she had enough and w
ent back. Andrew later joined me and while out we had a dolphin swim in front of me about 8-10 feet. It was amazing! Later that night we went to the PCC for the luau. This was my favorite of the whole trip. The food was delicious and the entertainment was fantastic! Thanks so much for Kelly who got us discount tickets. After the show I had a chance to stop by her place to quickly say hi and give her a hug. Thursday morning we boarded Aloha airlines and flew to the island of Maui. I had really wanted to swim in and hike along the Seven Sacred Pools in Hana. When I researched the place they said you should plan a whole day for the trip but I had no idea it was because of the road! It was very narrow and winding, which lasted for a couple of hour
s. Poor Brian who had to drive the road in our upgraded Dodge Durango! But we did get some amazing pictures of the scenery along the way and came upon a black sand beach, pretty cool! Unfortunately to my dismay, when we finally made it to the Seven Sacred Pools we were told it was closed off due to high water levels. Bummer! We barely made it back in time to eat and go to sleep to wake up again early the next morning to go to Kauai. We absolutely loved our place in Kauai so much that we extended our stay there another day! That Friday we spent our afternoon tubing down old canals through a series of dark tunnels wearing silly hard hats with lights. We all had an absolute blast doing this! Andrew, thinking h
e was clever, flipped himself out of his tube in the attempt to flip Amy. Serves him right! Later that night we ate at an expensive restaurant where I ordered what I thought was shrimp cocktail. Instead it was three pieces of shrimp placed on crisp crackers between dipping dishes of cold gazpacho. It wasn't easy to eat nor very filling. But everyone else enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere was nice. Saturday we went to several beaches looking for the perfect wave. We ate super huge tacos and of course more shaved ice. The waves were too rough for us so we headed back to our condo where the waves were much calmer. That next morning we all said our last good byes to Kauai and headed back to Oahu. While there we stopped at Pearl H
arbor to pay our respects and then headed to North Shore for one last shaved ice! We then went back to Missy's to get our things and to say our last good byes to her and her family. Missy and Kip had just adopted an island baby, Maylani, who was absolutely beautiful and couldn't take her eyes off of Brian! Jenna was a doll and I enjoyed eating her chocolate curls and dancing with her to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. Our trip to Hawaii had come to an end. We had a great time and were sad to leave but ready to go home still the same. Once on the plane, we all took some sleeping pills and rested for the long flight back. I already miss Hawaii tons and look forward to returning soon!
