Pat's Run 2009

This was my second year running in the Pat's Run. It's a 4.2 mile race in memory of Pat Tillman, whose football jersey was 42. The race takes place at ASU, starting out at lot 59 and ending at the 42 yard line in the stadium. This year, I went with a few friends of mine under the team name WOW (Women of Worth). Cheezy yes, but we adopted the name from my friend's grandma and thought it was a riot. I came in at 45:10, which was about three and a half minutes less than last year, so I'm pretty happy with that. Now my next goal is to finish a 10K, running the whole way!

Happy Easter

I know Jesus is the Christ. How grateful I am for his infinite atoning sacrifice and the many tender mercies that he gives me daily. May we remember him this Easter day and always.
